More about this escape
Amaya was built entirely by hand without any cement, using stone walls, copper roofing, and wood from the surrounding area. Traditional mountain building styles that villages have used for hundreds of years were updated to work for today without copying the past. Vegetables grow in organic gardens on terraced hillsides while a thousand fruit trees, including apple, pear, plum, mulberry, fig, and citrus, provide fresh produce year-round. Chefs prepare meals with what is in season, mixing mountain food traditions with flavors from other parts of the world. You can spend days walking through gardens, picking wild berries.
Itinerary

Walking Paths
Stone walkways connect the buildings and go through the property. The stones can be bumpy, so bring shoes that give you a good grip. Electric golf carts can drive you around if you do not want to walk far.
Tell Them About Food Needs:
Share any allergies or special diets when you book your room. The cooking team needs time to plan meals that work for you while using fresh vegetables from their garden.

Every stay can be shaped into something completely different depending on the group, the occasion, and what kind of time away is needed most. Come for the rest, stay for the alpacas.

Padmaa Boutique Hotel sits inside a restored haveli in Jaipur's historic walled city that has been home to the Shah family for seven generations. Guests experience life in the old city through cultural workshops, walks past artisan workshops, rooftop dining with live music, and spa treatments based on traditional healing methods. The stay celebrates Rajasthani heritage through family stories, home-cooked vegetarian meals, and hands-on activities in a setting where history meets comfort.

Dorje’s Resort & Spa sits on a peaceful hillside overlooking Phewa Lake in Pokhara, Nepal. This wellness retreat combines traditional healing practices, organic farm-fresh meals, and daily yoga with views of the Annapurna mountain range stretching across the horizon. Dorje runs the property himself and has been working in hotels for thirty years. The pools get busy when families are swimming, while the spa stays full of people who need to work out soreness from hiking. You’re not required to follow any set schedule here, so some days you might do several activities and other days you might barely leave your room.
