More about this escape
Your adventure begins early in the morning when you take a boat down the Rapti River and watch the jungle come alive with bird sounds. Barahi Jungle Lodge offers comfortable accommodations right at the edge of Chitwan National Park with expert naturalist guides. The lodge features traditional design with modern amenities, and each room has views of either the jungle or the peaceful Rapti River.
You will ride in jeeps through Chitwan National Park where you can spot one-horned rhinos eating grass and maybe even see tiger footprints in the mud. Boat trips let you see crocodiles resting in the sun and colorful birds diving into the water as you float toward where two rivers meet.
When evening comes, you will eat dinner in the forest under lanterns while listening to jungle sounds all around you. Local Tharu people will dance and tell stories that their families have shared for hundreds of years. At Barahi Jungle Lodge, every day brings new wildlife encounters and peaceful moments watching the sunrise over the wilderness.

Good to Know
Rainy Season Changes
The park closes jeep safaris from June to October because roads get flooded. Boat trips and cultural shows still happen during these months.
Seeing Animals
Wild animals move around freely and follow their own schedules. You might see tigers and rhinos, but it depends on where they choose to go that day.
What to Wear
Bring strong hiking boots for walking safaris that go 5-7 kilometers through mud and small streams. Wear brown or green clothes because bright colors make animals run away.
Best Time to Visit
Optimal periods to experience Chitwan Wildlife Adventure at its finest, based on weather conditions and overall visitor experience.

Sanctuary Resort is set on the western edge of Chitwan National Park in southern Nepal, right along the banks of the Narayani River in the lush region of Amaltari. The buildings are made from local stone and timber, so the resort feels like it grew out of the land rather than being built on top of it. From open-jeep safaris through rhino country to quiet evenings spent with the Tharu community, every part of a stay here is shaped by the wild surroundings.

Dorje’s Resort & Spa sits on a peaceful hillside overlooking Phewa Lake in Pokhara. This wellness retreat combines traditional healing practices, organic farm-fresh meals, and daily yoga with views of the Annapurna mountain range stretching across the horizon. Dorje runs the property himself and has been working in hotels for thirty years. The pools get busy when families are swimming, while the spa stays full of people who need to work out soreness from hiking. You’re not required to follow any set schedule here, so some days you might do several activities and other days you might barely leave your room.

The bridge stretches over the Kaligandaki Gorge with 228 meters of open air below. At The Cliff Nepal, you’ll find experiences that test your limits: a bungee jump that sends you into freefall, a canyon swing with 8 seconds of pure flight, and a sky cycle where you pedal through empty space with just valley views underneath. The Sky Cafe serves meals while suspended over the gorge, making even breakfast feel special. After a full day, the riverside cottages offer hot showers and comfortable beds when your body needs them most.
