More about this escape
Six individually designed holiday properties spread across the farm, each restored with original furnishings, locally made artwork, and a look that feels nothing like a standard rental. Kune Kune pigs, pygmy goats, alpacas, donkeys, Valais Black Nose sheep, and free-roaming chickens share the land with you, and a morning spent with them tends to be one of the unexpected highlights of the stay. Private yoga classes, woodland spa sessions, in-room beauty treatments, and chef-cooked dinners can all be arranged so the trip takes the shape you actually want it to. Founders Gem and Thom built this place on the belief that a great stay should feel personal and properly looked after. Every product on the farm, from the food to the wine to the artwork on the walls, has been chosen to back that up.
Itinerary
Day 1: Settling In Properly
Check-in opens at 4 pm, and the change in pace starts almost the moment you walk through the door. A massage or facial can be arranged for early evening to help shake off whatever the week left behind, and supper arrives as an in-room hamper packed with locally sourced ingredients, including seasonal vegetables, potatoes, and salmon en croute, alongside a bottle from Flint Vineyard. Quiet, comfortable, and exactly the kind of first night a good trip deserves. There is nowhere to be and nothing to do, which is the whole point.
Meals: Supper hamper
Activities: Welcome massage or facial
Day 2: The One You Will Talk About After
Morning starts with a Black Dog Deli breakfast hamper and freshly laid eggs from the farm's Burford Brown hens, which is as good a way to open a day as it sounds. A few lengths in the heated pool lead into a time out in the field with the alpacas and miniature donkeys, followed by a private yoga class that takes place late morning. Exclusive use of the woodland spa for one hour opens up the afternoon, with a sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge sitting quietly in the trees waiting for you. Fish and chips at Sole Bay Fish Company by Southwold Harbor make for a proper coastal dinner, and the night ends back at the farm with Gozney pizzas, cocktails under the stars, and a hot tub dip before bed.
Meals: Breakfast hamper, fish and chips, farm pizza dinner
Activities: Pool swim, farm animal visit, private yoga, woodland spa
Day 3: A Slow Exit
The final morning runs at whatever pace feels right, with time for a last walk around the farm and a proper goodbye to the animals before the 10 am checkout. You leave well rested, well fed, and already thinking about coming back.
Meals: N/A
Activities: Farm walk before departure

Miraaya Wellness and Golf Resort is Nepal's first boutique wellness destination, and it sits in the lush foothills of Chitwan where jungle, open farmland, and mountain air all come together. The resort runs on a simple belief that good food, authentic Ayurveda, and time in nature are the most powerful things you can give yourself. Every day here is shaped around that idea, from the therapy sessions and yoga at dawn to the cultural village visits and fireside dinners in the evening. For anyone who has been looking for a true Nepal wellness retreat, Miraaya is a very good answer.

Tenuta Negroamaro is a seven-hectare estate in the Salento countryside of southern Italy, and it is one of the most peaceful places you can visit in the region. The property is centered around good food, open land, and a relaxed way of life that makes it very easy to slow down. You can walk through olive groves, cook with the chef, taste local wines, and fall asleep to complete quiet every night. This is what a Puglia wellness retreat is supposed to feel like.

Susafa is an 18th-century stone farmhouse in the Sicilian countryside, and it has been looked after by the same family for over two centuries. The property is built around good food, open land, and a pace of life that gives you real room to breathe. From a homemade breakfast to a wine tasting in the old winery, every part of the stay connects back to the land and the traditions that have shaped this place for generations. Slow down here, and Sicily starts to make a lot more sense.
